On September 5-7, 2011 – Kasetsart University and other committee organizers conducted the international conference on ‘Elephant and Wildlife Health Management in Asia’ at KU, BKK. This conference had participants from more than 10 countries. Susan K. Mikota who wrote a book ‘Biology, Medicine and Surgery of Elephants’ also was there as a keynote speaker and gave a talk about Tuberculosis in Elephant. EREC were there to share our experiences about our research as well. This conference brought us more about understanding and knowledge to conserve the elephant in the future.
